Eat.Sleep.Poop.Repeat.

You guys are too funny! A Chloe-only blog? I can just see it:

  • 8-11 sleep
  • 11:30 Heather physically removes me from the bed and forces me to go outside. Refuse to potty and scratch at door for 10 minutes until she relents and lets me in. Try to eat Piper’s food. Sit on Heather so she can’t type or read blogs.
  • 12-3 sleep
  • 3-5 Try to break into litterbox. Heather yells at me. Scratch at pantry door. Heather yells at me. Try to break into office so I can pee on the white rug. Heather yells at me. Sulk. Sleep.

… and so on.

This morning I grabbed a quick breakfast before driving Brian to work. His car is being towed to the shop tomorrow (not the Prius- our other car, which was actually a hand-me-down from my brother). Plain Chobani with some Multigrain Cheerios, dried cherries, and honey in a GIANT mug:

My legs were still super sore from the long run on Monday, but I forced myself to take a short jog today- 4 miles at the lake. I think it did help a little with the soreness. After the run it was back to studying… and yet more of that Moroccan Chicken Stew for lunch. This time on top of couscous:

I think it’s time to retire the stew. Although it was good.

The practical went well. We didn’t even take the written test today, which means that I wasted a lot of time studying… but I guess I was going to have to do that eventually anyway. My hollandaise turned out perfectly (yea!), but the cream of broccoli soup was thiiiiiick. I think the term “baby food” may have come up during my evaluation. Oops. But it was seasoned well and a little stock would have thinned it right out. I should probably stick to baking…

SPEAKING OF- I have a job interview tomorrow!!!! I applied last night and got a call this morning! I don’t want to say where it is just yet for fear of jinxing it, but let’s just say that if I get the job I will probably never bring home a paycheck… too much temptation. Mwahaha.

Survey Time!

You guys hear a LOT about Chloe (probably too much!)- tell me about your pets :)

    Good luck with the interview.
I also want to commend you for your running. I am so impressed with your dedication.
We have a cat named Ling Ling. She is half siamese and
half ? She is white with black on the tip of her tail and black on one ear.
She started out as Amy’s cat, but she didn’t travel well to college, so she stays with me now. :)

  5. Rose says:

Congrats about your interview and good luck!

I don’t have pets sadly :( Unless you count the 8 plants and counting that I have…

    Good luck at your interview!
I have told you a little about my insane hound – Otto. Here is a little more into the life of this rather strange creature – he is the sweetest dog on the planet – that is basically his saving grace, he barks like a mad man at the mailman as if he is a toughie, he has to wedge his way between my huz and anybody that gets near him, he pukes any form of people food that he ingests (we don’t go down that road anymore), he ALWAYS shivers – even when it is 90 degrees – I think he is just a nervous wreck. He has a million quirks – I’ll save him the embarrassment. Despite being a major doofus – I love him.
We also have Sir Milton the hamster, Stripey & Spiderman (aka SpongeBob) the hermit crabs.

Good luck on your interview! :)

Good luck on the interview, Heather – I’m sure you’ll do great!

I adore Chloe (Seriously, pugs are my favorite!) and wouldn’t mind a dog blog. heh. I currently don’t have any pets :-( as both my roommates claim to be allergic.

Tammy – I used to have a half-siamese cat named Ling Ling when I was a kid! I thought I was sooo creative when I named her at the time, too. haha.

I have a 1 year old siamese kitten named Peekay. He is insane!! He likes to “talk” all the time and adores attention. His favorite trick is jumping straight from the floor to your shoulders and then draping himself about like a mink stole. Yet surprisingly he won’t jump on the counter. He also likes to play fetch with his stuffed animals :)

Oh!! Good luck on your interview! ;) Yay!

  12. Margie says:

    Good luck with the interview.

We have an 80 lb boxer, Maxine and a 25 black and tan dachshund, Roger. My husband calls them the German front. Who is more aggresive and dominant? The short guy, of course. Maxine just wants to cuddle, which is kind of challenging considering her size.

  13. Margie says:

sorry Roger is 25 lbs. not simply 25.

  14. Erin says:

My cats sit on my lap while I’m reading blogs/working/at the comp too. Major annoying, but they make a nice portable heater!

  15. Lisa P says:

I have a chubby little beagle named Mandy, who sounds a lot like your Chloe. We don’t have a cat, though, so she would divert her energies in the 12:30 block to trying to break into the kitchen trash can or maybe sneaking into the bathroom to drink out of the toilet.

I am really curious about where your interview was! I’m glad it went well!
