The word of the day was productivity. Er, at least that was supposed to be the word of the day. It’s so easy to make this huge to-do list the night before, isn’t it? Getting it all done is another story.
I got up this morning. Chloe did NOT.
For some reason I’ve been craving cereal lately- probably due to the warmer weather. I made the mistake of cutting down the cereal aisle at the grocery store last night and couldn’t pass up a box of Raisin Bran (what am I, 80?). So that was breakfast this morning, along with a few blackberries.
After breakfast I finished a take home test and typed up recipes for my practical exam tomorrow. I have to make Entrecote Saute Bordelaise (Sirloin Steak with Red Wine & Shallot Sauce). Our instructor is leaving the starch and veggie up to us, so I think I’m going to make couscous and sauteed swiss chard.
For lunch I met my mom at Tony’s. I can’t go there and not get pizza… this time with chicken and spinach:
I had two slices (along with a side salad) and then brought the rest home.
After lunch we ran to Whole Foods for my swiss chard and a few groceries. Of course I ended up with a bunch of other crap that I probably didn’t need: Chobani, PB Puffins, Clif Bars, Rachel’s flavored cottage cheese, and these little fruit crisps. I’m going to snack on the pear flavor in class tonight:
I waited until after class for dinner: leftover eggplant parmesan, eaten in front of tivo’d Office and 30 Rock.
My mom is letting us use her cleaning lady tomorrow (wooHOO) so I need to “pre-clean”, print off recipes and put up laundry. Night all!
Not a lot! Friday- no idea, hopefully a run after class. Saturday- maybe some gardening, then keeping our adorable nieces Saturday night. Sunday- ?? Wow, we’re pretty lame.
