It’s official… I suck at time management. Case in point: I have to be up at 5 tomorrow morning, and I have yet to blog, pack my lunch, shower, or any of the other junk that I intended to do tonight. Nights just go too fast.

This morning it was back to the Green Monster, though at this point we were out of BOTH Almond Breeze and skim milk. No worries- Light Chocolate Silk to the rescue, along with spinach, mixed berries, protein powder and ice.

In my favorite ghetto Great Outdoors cup… it’s the only one big enough to hold the giant smoothies.

The kiddos slept late today and then we had some errands to run. We stopped for lunch at- you guessed it- Great Outdoors! I love this place and luckily they do, too. It’s kind of old school, but they make really good sandwiches (sangwiches, sammiches). I had turkey on whole wheat with a ton of veggies, pickles and jalapenos, and 3 cherry peppers on the side:

After babysitting I headed over to my parents’ house to swim some laps. I’m kind of over running right now- it’s too damn hot and I’m getting too big and awkward. Swimming seems like a better option (might as well, since I’m rapidly approaching whale-like… Brian commented tonight, “Wow, you’re really starting to look pregnant.” Duh.). I also ordered this prenatal yoga DVD so once that gets here I plan to throw it into the rotation.

But first I had a quick snack- actually part of today’s intended lunch- of an Ezekiel english muffin with a schmear of Sabra hummus:

After he got off work and then mowed the yard, Brian met me at my parents’ house and picked up Thai on the way. Love this guy. I had pad thai with tofu and extra veggies:

And now here we are… and I have GOT to go to bed! See you manana.

Are you good with time management? If so, any tips?

Time management and I are not what I would call friends. I used to fret about it, but not anymore. Life is too short.

  3. Tammy Says:

Time management implies that your tasks at hand are able to be organized or managed into a specific amount of time.
Well. It doesn’t say how MUCH time now, does it? I give every task at least a year.

I am pretty darn good – when I know I have a short amount of time and lots to do I just make a list and keep the list out until I have completed everything. I have a notepad in every space – my car, my office, 2 at home….so yeah, I am a list girl (which you knew)!

That Pad Thai looks like it was good. I had Annie Chung’s Pad Thai bowl last night because I was having a craving for some. It was ok, I wouldn’t call it pad thai though, more like noodles with sodiumrific sauce and peanuts, but it was pretty tasty for something out of the pantry.

Okay, totally random question, but since you blogged about it today, I feel okay asking…

How the heck do you get your ezekiel english muffins open? I bought some last week, put them in the freezer because that’s where I bought them, and this morning felt like I needed to get my toolbox out to get it open. What’s your secret????

And time management during summer doesn’t happen for me, I have way too much time and not enough management. During the school year, I’m a freaking time management queen.
