You know what’s a fun way to wake up in the morning? With a tiny baby foot wedged between your ribs. Ooof. Feet down, kiddo. He’s always super active right when I’m trying to go to sleep at night and first thing in the morning… which bodes well for his newborn schedule, huh?
Breakfast this morning was a GIANT bowl of pumpkin yogurt:

Waaay too much food here, though you can bet that I cleaned the bowl. Plain yogurt mixed with canned pumpkin, topped with Quaker Cinnamon Oatmeal Squares, raw trail mix, and honey.
I’m almost finished with my little project for Jack’s room. Nothing too exciting; just dividers to hang in his closet that separate the clothes into age group/sizes. I still need to drill holes in the top and attach ribbon hangers. But cute so far, no?

My parents are on vacation in Michigan right now, and my mom asked that I pick up one of their dogs at the vet once or twice while they’re gone and let her hang out for a bit. Sophie (their king charles spaniel) and Chloe get along really, really well, but Chloe does NOT get along with their other dog, Annie (shih tzu). Anyway, today I picked up Sophie and she’s spending the night tonight. Chloe spent all afternoon trying to hump her. Poor Sophie- she takes it like a champ.
Lunch wasn’t too exciting- leftover chili and tortilla chips:

I don’t know if it got above 70 degrees outside today. Fantastic!! I can’t wait to pull out the hoodies and Uggs. Though I think it’s supposed to be back in the 90′s this weekend.
My afternoon was thrilling. Lots of laundry… and trying to put the kibosh on all of the pug-humping. Don’t be jealous. Once Brian got home we decided to leave the nympho dogs behind and go out for dinner. Barbeque sounded good and we had a coupon for Red Hot and Blue’s. I had a giant baked potato stuffed with pulled chicken:

‘Twas delicious. Oh, and I’m not ashamed to admit that my favorite thing about this restaurant is that they serve the soft drinks in cute little pitchers.

In honor of the first day of the season: What’s your favorite thing about fall?
Me: Finally some cooler weather, plus I LOVE the fall holidays. I’m ready to start decorating for Halloween but Brian thinks I’m nuts.

The dividers are really cute! They remind me of these onesies I saw online that celebrate the babies birthday each month. They were really cute! I will have to try to re-find them for you.
My favorite thing about fall is … everything!
The holidays are football are tops for me! Fall makes me happy.
yum that pumpkin yogurt looks uhhhmazing! i would’ve eaten the whole thing as well!

That potato looks good.
My favorite thing about fall is wearing tights and scarves.
Fall is my favorite! I love the weather, holidays.. pretty much everything about it!
I completely agree on the holidays. With nothing to do but stay inside with family and look at the crappy weather ouutside, they’re the best!
Um, LOVE the clothing dividers, so adorable and crafty, I am impressed! I love Fall because:
1. Cooler weather
2. Pumpkins (real and the candy corn kind)
3. The impending END of daylight saving time
4. My birthday in Nov. (hint)
5. Halloween, love it, it’s my 3rd favorite holiday other than the 4th of July and my birthday (well, my birthday isn’t a national holiday…yet)
Those dividers are supercute! Where do your parents vacation in Michigan? I’ve vacationed in Michigan my whole life!
Those dividers are really cute!
My favorite thing about fall is the leaves changing. They are so pretty! Oh, and pumpkin flavored anything!
Oooh, too cute! those clothing dividers. Can’t wait to see the finished nursery. Do we get a virtual tour video? Just something to do in your “spare” time.
I love cooler weather, fall colors, football, apple-n-cinnamon smells, and the holidays!
those dividers are absolutely precious! I wouldn’t mind having some of those in my closet
I had no idea you were so crafty!!
Happy Fall, Heather

Do we intend our child to be naked between 18 and 24 months?
I look forward to football, not being hot all the time and laughing at the pug in her Halloween costume.
Can’t wait until next year when we can laugh at the pug & Jack!
