It was another gorrrrgeous day here in Big D. After seeing how much Jack enjoyed hanging out outside yesterday, I decided to set up shop in the backyard this afternoon. My mom always talked about how special it was to see Zach and I getting along when we were little (she called it “Heart Medicine”- LOL). Now I understand:
Chloe’s such a protective big sis.
Breakfast- plain yogurt with strawberries, cereal, sliced almonds and honey:
We have NO food in the house. I debated dragging Jack to Subway but then ended up putting together the weirdest lunch ever… which surprisingly worked really well:
Leftover brown basmati rice mixed with chickpeas. I squeezed a lime on top and topped it with cheese, salsa, avocado and sour cream. It was filling and actually very tasty.
The days seem to be going so fast this week. I keep intending to make dinner and then finding better things to do (like laying on a blanket with Jack and Chloe). Oh well. Tonight we ended up heading to Mexicali for some cheap tex-mex. I had the tacos al carbon- one chicken and one steak.
So we FINALLY got around to taking Jack’s 3 month pictures. Look at how much he’s grown!
Okay, sorry. Brian thought that was hilarious.
Here he is:
The progression…
Three months has FLOWN by, and Jack’s just getting more and more fun every day. I think he’s a keeper.
Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Jack is getting so big! His smile is just the cutest!
Ok, I’m cracking up over Brian sitting in Jack’s chair with the sticker on his shirt!! Very funny! Seriously though, Jack is getting to be such a big boy! You can see his little personality coming out more and more in the recent pics. I need to come visit him soon…I need more practice, and all my friends have baby girls. Anyway, hope you guys have a fun weekend!
Aw, adorable 3 month pic of Jack! He is so sweet. If Hubby and I were having a boy we were going to name him Jack so I love your sons name
….. but were having a girl!
LOL I love your sense of humour(the “I think he’s a Keeper” part)
I thought Brian was funny
Yay for blankets and sunshine! And Chloe pictures!
Wow, he’s getting big! What a cutie!
Yea, I think he’s worth keeping.
Those last two, 2 and 3, he looks like he’s developing a trademarked pose! I love the smile of the first three month shot…and Brian is funny!
It’s crazy to actually see his month by month progression! The changes are small but you can see him developing more and more. What a cute baby!
Awww! He’s darling! Almost as cute as Brian!
