Uh Oh, I Want Some More

You know what’s probably a good thing? That Society Bakery hadn’t yet set up shop in our hospital when Jack was born.

But they’re set up now! And I couldn’t leave my doctor’s office without stopping to get “Jack” a cookie.

It actually really was for Jack. He’s obsessed with cookies right now. As soon as we walk into Target, he’s all, “Gookie?? Gookie??” until I buy him a mini scone at Starbucks. And then when you hand it to him, he literally squeals, “OOOOOOOH!

So of course I have to buy him cookies. It’s adorable.

Sometimes I look through my Bakes tab (the one at the top of the page) and come across recipes I’d forgotten about. Tonight we had my Cheesy Turkey Meatballs again… a favorite.

Served on whole wheat pasta with tomato-spinach sauce. Both from Aldi.

Jack is so into songs right now. He has quite the repertoire. I finally pulled out the Flip tonight and caught him in action. Here’s the setlist: “Barbara Ann,” followed by the Neon Trees’ “Animal” (Uh oh, I want some more…), and then some ABC’s. Then he just goes wheels off and starts playing with a plastic Easter egg, which for some reason he thinks is an apple.

American Idol, here we come… his Gia will be so proud.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

He is so stinkin’ cute! I was watching the video and Jim heard the baby singing and said “Who is that” and was floored at how verbal Jack is; sooooo talented!
