I made the grave error of turning on Food Network this weekend… I swear, EVERY SINGLE SHOW was about chocolate. So now I just want to sit on the couch and eat this:
That would be yet another loaf of Amish friendship bread, this one made using chocolate pudding instead of vanilla, and adding 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and 3 Tbs of cocoa powder. I left in the cinnamon, because, you know, Mexican Chocolate. Love it.
In other news, it’s SNOWING in Dallas. But don’t worry; it’s supposed to be 65 degrees on Tuesday.
We had quite the uneventful weekend. Usually those are the weekends were I get the most done in the kitchen. Like these ham & cheese sandwiches I found on Pinterest (and have sampled at baby showers in the past):
We had a bunch of those King’s Hawaiian Rolls left over from last weekend, so I figured what the heck. Ham sandwiches aren’t really my thing, but the boys like them. I DID really like the mustard sauce you pour on top.
Also on the menu? A big bowl of bean soup (I know you’re shocked, right?? Well, what else do you make on cold days?) and another batch of Kale Sunshine Salad:
Brian’s comment? “This salad is intense.” LOL.
When I was pregnant with Jack, I was so diligent with the bump pics starting at 18 weeks. Well here we are at 22 weeks with baby #2 and my FIRST bump photo:
A comparison: Jack vs. Baby Girl.
Ahhh, the good ol’ days… when I actually used to shower and wash my hair…

Cute picture! Your bump looks pretty much the same in both. For some reason I feel HUGE this pregnancy.
Love the bump photo-you look great!!
We tried the kale salad last night-very tasty but I agree with Brian, it is intense!
