With the addition of baby #2, we’ve kind of fallen into a pattern of me taking care of Isla Grace while Brian entertains Jack. She nurses pretty much constantly (at least it feels that way right now) so it just makes sense to divide the labor that way. I LOVE getting all of this bonding time with Isla, but I also really, really miss hanging out one-on-one with Jackster. My mom came over this morning and volunteered to chill with Isla, so Jack and I headed to the neighborhood spray park.
Holy moly- SO MUCH FUN. Why have we never been here before? Jack loved it. Plus it’s 150 degrees out so what else are we going to do? It’s kind of perfect: Super close to our house, lots of kids to play with, and safer than the pool (I can’t swim for a few more weeks anyway).
Tonight my friend Erin brought us dinner. Another amazing meal!

Parmesan Crusted Chicken- made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo
Orzo Pasta Salad (with toasted pine nuts, feta and cherries- OMG)
I’ve seen that chicken recipe on Pinterest and thought about cooking it for dinner countless times. Now I’ll definitely be making it! It was really tender and I love the tangy yogurt sauce on top.
Hope everyone is having a good week! Erin made us brownies, too… so I’m going to go eat one (or eight) now. Night!
