I’m officially WIPED OUT. We definitely did more today than we’ve done since Isla was born- Jack and I made a Target run this morning, I took him to Little Gym this afternoon and I’ve spent all evening picking up the house because my mom is sending her housekeeper over tomorrow (definitely much needed- but our house is currently a hell hole and requires a lot of “pre-cleaning”). Funny how this was all a normal day a few weeks ago and now it just completely wears me out- in case you were wondering, newborns require a lot of energy. A lot.
Lauren & Caroline came to the rescue tonight and brought us dinner! Uncle Julio’s combo fajitas, which was PERFECT because we haven’t been out for Tex-Mex in over 2 weeks. I know, what??
She also brought us Gigi’s cupcakes- margarita and hot fudge. I’m about to eat one of the margaritas as soon as I publish this post. How’s that for motivation?
(Update: Ate it. It was awesome.)
I snapped some cute pics of the kids today. I think I’ve doubled the number of pics on my phone since Isla’s birth. It’s a little excessive.
Morning stretches:
Sweet big brother.
My little monkey:
I don’t even know. He and Gia rigged this up.
Just watching TV in a bucket… NBD.

that ‘sweet big brother’ pic is a killer! such a sweet family you have! (but you come from good stock in that way
Thanks Kathy!!
How fun is it to say “the kids”
I know!! It felt so weird to type that…
Most adorable kid pics ever! I don’t know what it is about your babies, but they look so alert and older than normal newborns. I remember thinking that when Jack was born, and Isla is the same. She’s precious!
Thanks! I’m going to chalk up the alertness to consuming massive amounts of caffeine while pregnant
