Good Intentions

See this?

That right there is a pile of good intentions. I had it all planned out to get up at 6 this morning and head out for a run. I even made a new playlist last night for motivation. But then Isla was up at 4:30 to eat… and then you can guess what I did when my alarm went off an hour and a half later. Ugh, I guess there’s always tomorrow.

This morning I went in to get Jack out of bed, and he was standing at the door COVERED in vomit. It was everywhere. In the bed, on the floor, all over his stuffed animals. Poor baby… no fever and he was fine the rest of the day, so I think it must have been something he ate. To make it worse, he actually apologized for “messing up his bed.” How sad is that? So my morning consisted of stripping the bed, throwing him in the tub and scrubbing the floor.

Brian’s mom was here all day and we played it pretty low key in case Jack got sick again. This gal did a good job entertaining us… she was all smiles today.

Once Brian and his dad got home, we headed to Tony’s for dinner. My angel hair with mushrooms and chicken:

So there’s my exciting day. Tomorrow I’m hoping to: 1. Get out and go for a run, and 2. think of something fun & active to do with Jack because I think we’re all getting a little stir crazy. I am SO ready for fall to get here so we can put our Arboretum and Zoo memberships to use.
