Little hints of fall are slowly popping up and I’m SO EXCITED. This weekend I picked up a Pumpkin Cupcake candle (which I’ve been burning nonstop) and then this morning when I got up to run, it was only 67 degrees out:
Amazing. I’d almost forgotten what it’s like to walk outside and not feel like your face is melting off.
Brian had to work late tonight, so the kids and I headed over to my parents’ house for dinner. My dad grilled steaks and chicken and my mom made green beans and baked potatoes.
My hot dinner date. We had to bribe him with the iPad to get him to eat. And that’s what we call good parenting.
My mom uses these little plastic ice cubes to keep her wine cold. Jack had other ideas.
So on the way home one of the mosquito-spraying planes buzzed right in front of our car. It’s pretty creepy.
That’s really all I have for today, but- BUT!- I have a fridge full of groceries and a meal plan for the week, so hopefully the rest of the week will be more exciting. I mean, if plastic ice cubes on a bus aren’t your thing.
