We’ve got a problem here. Isla has what we refer to as “milk neck.” Basically she drools/spits up and it flows into her neck creases and then gets all stinky and gross. Sort of like Chloe’s ENTIRE FACE.
And we would just wipe it up, except we have these bad boys to deal with:
The CHEEEEEKS. I want to eat her up.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way. Guess what I did today? Went to Trader Joe’s. Again. But this time sans kids so I could wander and study every single item and annoy all the other shoppers. It was awesome.
One of my TJ’s finds was a big bag of sliced cremini mushrooms. I used those, along with a bag of green beans, to make Roasted Green Beans with Mushrooms, Balsamic and Parmesan.
Basically exactly how it sounds: Put trimmed green beans and sliced mushrooms in a gallon ziploc with 2 Tbs each of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Shake to coat, then spread evenly on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast at 450 for 20ish minutes, then sprinkle with kosher salt, pepper and parmesan. SO, so good. This is the best veggie dish I’ve made in a long time and even Jack loved it.

Seriously, is anything from Trader Joe’s NOT good? It’s amazing.
I’ve been fighting a big headache all day so it’s off to bed for me. But seriously, try the green beans!! You’ll like them, I promise.
