This weekend was all about the celebrating. Last night we headed to my cousin’s house for an anniversary party in honor of my grandparents and my aunt and uncle. My sweet Grandma & Grandpa (or Gigi & Grumpy to Jack) have been married for SIXTY FIVE years. So proud of them:

And my aunt and uncle were celebrating their 40th anniversary, too. Big day! Jack had a blast playing with his cousins, and Isla… well Isla spent most of the time in the Ergo. It was her first big party and I think she was a little overwhelmed.

Hey, hey, Casa Linda Bakery! My fave.

Then today was really special because Brian and I were able to witness baby Addie’s dedication. That sweet girl has been through a lot in her 5 short months and is about to go in for major surgery #2, but you would never know because she is seriously the happiest, calmest baby ever. And obviously insanely cute. LOOK at that DRESS.

Anyway, we were so blessed to be a part of Addie’s big day! Love that precious girl and her family.

I remember when we were little, my mom would get all gushy when Zach and I were sweet to each other. We thought it was hilarious and would just roll our eyes and make fun of her, but NOW I get it. Jack and Isla are interacting more every day and it is pretty much the best thing ever. I could watch them all day. Jack constantly wants to be touching Isla and tells me how cute she is about 10 times a day. And Isla thinks anything Jack does is amazing. Brian and I make idiots of ourselves on a daily basis and Isla barely smiles, but today we were at lunch and Jack is just sitting there talking (and NOT eating, as usual)- and Isla starts cracking up. Like laughing out loud at her big brother, just because.

Oh, I love them. And now I’m gushing. I’ll stop now.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! And you still have a little while to enter my Hallmark giveaway so don’t forget!!
