We’re taking full advantage of the Mommy & Me activities starting back at the Arboretum. After being essentially stuck inside all summer (due to newborn, West Nile and 110 degree temps), it’s SO NICE to get out and play again. This morning we met up with Jack’s playgroup. He immediately spotted his friend Luna and off they went. They’re ridiculously cute together, always holding hands.
(Thanks to Kira for the pics!!!)
He carried this tiny pumpkin around the entire time we were there.
It’s a little early, but we’re starting to pull toys out of the attic for Isla: exersaucer, jumparoo, etc. She’s not so in love with the Bumbo yet.
We had no food in the house today and I couldn’t bear a Target trip with both kids, so for dinner I got online and ordered from B.B. Bop Rice Bowls and Brian picked it up on his way home. I’m sure I’ve blogged about this place before, but we love it. You just pick your rice (or noodles), protein, veggies and sauce. Jack loves the jasmine rice + chicken + broccoli + mushroom combo.
Here’s mine: Brown rice, chicken, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, scrambled egg and peanut sauce. Yum.
Off to watch the RH of NJ finale… part 3? Will it ever end?
Oh, and congrats to the winner of the Hallmark giveaway!!! Thanks to everyone who entered.
