So our internet is back up… only 36 hours later! Ugh. Brian called for the THIRD time tonight and AT&T finally did whatever it is they do.
Anyway, Jack has really taken an interest in “helping” me lately. Like if I pull out the broom, he drags the Swiffer around behind me (like through the pile that I just swept… it’s SUPER helpful). He also cooks in his little kitchen while I made dinner, which is pretty adorable. Yesterday I asked if he wanted to help me make cookies and he freaked out. So exciting.
A little secret: We always cook pant-less around here.
We used this recipe for Lazy Cake Cookies. It’s perfect for making with kids. You just dump a box of yellow cake mix into a bowl, add 5 Tbs of melted butter, 2 beaten eggs and 2 cups of chocolate chips and stir. Then you pour (or rather “press” because the consistency is more like cookie dough than cake batter) the mix into a 9×13 dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
But of course we had to add frosting and sprinkles:
Yea sprinkles!
