A Little of This, A Little of That

Halloween is almost heeeere! Today I grabbed a couple of things at Trader Joe’s (actually 6 huge packages of organic celery like a psychopath because I’m still on the juice train), and the credit card machine played creepy Halloween organ music when it was time to take out your card! I almost lost it. Well played, TJ’s.

I cleaned out the fridge today and found this shoved in the back: brussels sprout and caramelized onion ravioli. It needed to be used ASAP (as in 3 days ago, whoops), so for lunch I cooked that and topped it with a little Rao’s Arrabiata sauce- aka, the best pasta sauce ever.

Not bad! The raviolis are a little delicate, so be careful when draining them. A few of mine exploded in the colander. You can definitely taste the brussels sprouts! This would have been great with browned butter or alfredo sauce as well.

ALSO. My newest snack obsession.

Have you tried this hummus?? It was on sale at Sprouts last week so I grabbed a pack. I love that it’s only 100 calories, and the individual servings are nice (because I tend to go crazy on a tub of hummus). It’s sweet, spicy, and goes great with red pepper strips! I’ve seen it at Super Target, too.

Speaking of SWEET, check out this guy…

Catch y’all tomorrow!

YUM! I love that sauce. One of my fave dinners is their butternut ravioli with Rachael Ray’s browned butter sauce (link here: https://www.rachaelraymag.com/recipe/browned-butter-sauce), parmesan, and browned chicken Italian sausage. YUM
